It is our second Shabbat in Israel and that means a slower, more relaxed day. Several of the kids were picked up around 9 am for family visits. The remaining members of the group headed out to spend a few hours of the beautiful day at the beach. Everyone returned from their visits and participated in a discussion of the weekly parsha after lunch. In the late afternoon the group walked along the beach promenade to Jaffa for a tour of this ancient port. Back at the hotel, we celebrated Havdallah, had dinner and walked to the Dizengoff Centre for our evening adventure.
